OUR FOUNDATION Bereton Academy, formerly Bereton College, was founded in 1987 by the first Military Governor of old Rivers State, HE, (Dr.) King Alfred Papapereye Diete-Spiff (OFR) J.P., a Monarch, Elder Statesman, Pilot, Navigator, Diver, Educationist, Consultant, Industrialist, Mediator, Conciliator, Arbitrator and Sportsman extra ordinary, whose genuine motive was born out of the desire to contribute to the project NIGERIA through the establishment of a high/ world class private institution to provide good and affordable qualitative education to the citizenry, with the objective to train and develop God fearing students academically, physically, spiritually and morally.

BERETON ACADEMY CALENDER
Bereton Academy runs a session of three (3) terms. A section is from September to July. The first (1st) term is September to December the second (2nd) term is January to April while the third (3rd) term is April to July. One week mid-term holidays a well as public holidays are also observed.

OUR LOCATION
Bereton Academy is located on a large expanse of Land measuring approximately 5, 179.21 Square Meters Area in Mgbuesilaru community. At No.19 Kwuru-Kwuru Road off Okporo Road, First Artillery, Port Harcourt, developed with a two storey (3 floors) of 36 class room block, a 2000-seater multi-purpose hall, laboratories, base and basic section block of buildings, two floors computer laboratory block, students hostels, staff quarters, canteen, plant house, sickbay block and gate house, the school also has football field, volley ball and basket ball courts.
The premise is enclosed in a perimeter block wall fence secured with a side and double leaf metal gates.
