ACCOMMODATION AND WELFARE SERVICES 

We have ultra-modern boarding facilities to cater for our local and international students. Boarding is compulsory for the final year class and optional for other classes.

 

HEALTH SERVICES

The school has a sickbay to cater for students, minded by a qualified nurse, whose duty is to offer first Aid while the School doctor visits periodically. However, serious cases are referred to the Hospital which has 24hours services either at Prime Medical Consultants, at No. 4 Prime Rd, Rumogba, Ph or  Bridgestone Hospital, New Airport road, Eliozu, Port Harcourt.

 

 

ELECTRICITY AND WATER SUPPLY

The school has its own transformer and 24hours standby generators in the premises, ensuring steady supply of electricity and water is treated and constant.

 

POCKET MONEY

 Parents are encouraged to give their children/wards moderate sums of money to school, which is deposited with the accountant, and can be accessed through the Patron/Matron for proper monitoring and accountability.

 

 VISITING AND OUTING DAYS

Parents are allowed to visit their child /ward on the last Sunday of every month between the hours of 2:00pm and 6:00pm.

Students are also allowed an outing day under the supervision of parents once a term, usually on a Saturday. Date is usually fixed by the school on resumption for the term.

Students are not to receive visitors without proper permission from the Principal or Patron/Matron

 

 

SCHOOL FEES

School fees are paid termly or annually, but must be paid on or before the first day of school. Boarding students are only allowed into the boarding house without their teller or receipt of payment. Registration is a one-time non-refundable payment.

 

MODE OF PAYMENT: Only certified Bank Drafts made payable to Bereton Academy or cash at Zenith Bank Plc, Intercontinental Bank plc and Eco Bank Plc are acceptable.    

The PTA executives with four children in the school are allowed ONE child for free education while Parents who introduce and bring in seven children, will have ONE of theirs given free education if three of the children are their biological children.

 

 

PROPRIETRESS SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

 

Outstanding students at the school entrance examination are given scholarship for the first three years of their study. The host communities are also given slots for scholarship yearly. While other forms of scholarship are at the proprietress prerogative.
