REBRANDING: BERETON COLLEGE NOW BERETON ACADEMY.
The rebranding exercise of the Academy has made a the new name for Bereton College to be BERETON ACADEMY and the new Slogan for Bereton Academy is "Bereton Academy, building a better nation, one student at a time".
OLD STUDENTS RE-UNION BY DECEMBER 2009.
Bereton Old Student Association (BOSA) plans to re-unite it's prestigious old students all over the world at the Academy's Ultra Modern Multipurpose Hall by December 2009.
BERETON ACADEMY AT 22 BY SEPTEMBER
It's a thing of joy to let students (current & old) and all stake holders of BERETON ACADEMY know that the Academy will be 22 years old by September 2009.
Bereton Academy, formerly Bereton College, was founded in 1987 by the first Military Governor of old Rivers State, HE, (Dr.) King Alfred Papapereye Diete-Spiff (OFR) J.P., a Monarch, Elder Statesman, Pilot, Navigator, Diver, Educationist, Consultant, Industrialist, Mediator, Conciliator, Arbitrator and Sportsman extra ordinary, whose genuine motive was born out of the desire to contribute to the project NIGERIA through the establishment of a high/ world class private institution to provide good and affordable qualitative education to the citizenry, with the objective to train and develop God fearing students academically, physically, spiritually and morally.
